Mid Level Electrical Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities
- Independent project execution for design of power systems for commercial buildings, healthcare, industrial facilities, and data centers, including power distribution, utility services, emergbency/standby generation, uninterruptable power supplies, etc.
- Electrical load calculations, short-circuit and arc flash analysis, and coordination studies.
- Interior and exterior lLighting photometric calculations, energy code compliance evaluation.
- Control and communications systems including building automation, lighting control, fire management, security, networking, and telecommunications.
- Sustainable and Energy efficient analysis, review, and design including energy audits, LEED projects, Energy Star, etc.
- Special systems design including fire alarm, lightning protection, ... Project Management responsibilities including writing proposals, maintaining client relationships, tracking project profitability, managing scope changes, and inter-disciplinary coordination with internal and external trades.
- Construction Administration functions including shop drawing review, field observations, punch list, and contractor coordination.
- Commissioning support for LEED and high reliability systems.
Qualifications
- BSEE or BS Architectural Engineering with 3-7 years of relevant experience
- EIT/FE and capable of passing PE exam within 12 months (PE Strongly preferred).
- LEED AP
- AutoCAD and Revit proficiency
- SKM Power Tools or euivalent
- Visual or Lumen Micro
